Cindy Bullens – Steal the Night -1979 official video
Taken from her second album from 1979 of the same name as rateyourmusic.com once said:
The aesthetics of late-1970s power-pop bands and artists has not aged well but the sound and music on their vinyl records, though unmistakably ‘dated’, are fresher than ever…
‘Steal the Night’ is a good illustration of this paradoxical stance.

Cindy Bullens – Too Close to Home – Scripture Version
“Too Close to Home” by Cindy Bullens is based on:
1 Samuel 20:1
David and Jonathan
20 Then David fled from Naioth at Ramah and went to Jonathan and asked, “What have I done? What is my crime? How have I wronged your father, that he is trying to kill me?”
2 Samuel 16:11
11 David then said to Abishai and all his officials, “My son, my own flesh and blood, is trying to kill me. How much more, then, this Benjamite! Leave him alone; let him curse, for the Lord has told him to.
29 We know that God spoke to Moses, but as for this fellow, we don’t even know where he comes from.”
The Interpretation of the Vision
15 While I, Daniel, was watching the vision and trying to understand it, there before me stood one who looked like a man.
Cindy Bullens -Trust Me – music video from 1979
Her 1st single from her 2nd album, “Steal The Night”. This is her 2nd single to make it to Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, with her first being the rocker “Survivor” which went to #56 in 1979. Unfortunately in 1980, “Trust Me” wasn’t as successful, only peaking at #90. A very talented singer/songwriter, like “Survivor”, “Trust Me” deserved a better chart fate.
